Our client is one of the main civil contracting contractors in Sydney. They have RTA, Earth-works, and sub-division projects throughout NSW valued up to $20M. They have grown significantly over the past 30 years and have vacancy for a Resource Allocations Coordinator to join their growing team. Duties: - Organize and allocate company plant, equipment and resources to ensure site requirements are met.
- Source external labour hire for peak periods.
- Source and maintain a subcontractor database.
- Assist Estimating department with putting together subcontractor tender packages and ensuring to chase quotes.
- Maintain job allocations board
- Maintain and update electronic databases.
Experience Required: - Previous experience working in the civil construction industry.
- The ability to respond with urgency to site personnel in relation to labour/resources need.
- Effective planning, organising and budget management skills.
- Ability to set priorities, manage process and met deadlines.
- Good paperwork accuracy, recording and processing of information is critical.
- Computer literacy, particularly experience working with spread sheets essential.
