Established in the early 90's my client is a premier mid tier builder/developer who is active in constructing quality high end projects all across the eastern seaboard of Australia.


They have now established a Sydney branch located in the North West and is in the process of expanding their professional team. With project on the go and also heavily tendering in the residential and commercial markets, they are now in the market for a Junior Estimator to join their organisation.


Junior Estimator

As a Junior Estimator the main responsibilities would include but not limited to;

· Assisting Senior Estimator in preparation of tenders to the value of $5Mil - $20Mil+ projects

· Quantity take offs

· Liaison with sub-contractors, preparing cost comparisons to be ready for quoting

· Commercial and residential production estimating with the use of both Buildsoft and Databuild software packages

· Attend tender meetings


The role will be located in their North West Sydney location reporting directly to a Senior Estimator. Be mentored and trained by one of the best in the business plus on-going training and development with the view of becoming a Senior Estimator is also offered.


To be qualified for this role they seek an individual who has the minimum 1 - 2 years post graduate experience with the necessary tertiary education. They also require construction experience having worked for a reputable builder with the responsibilities of the duties outlined above.


The salary is open for negotiations but for the right individual my client is willing to go above the industry rates. Annual reviews, KPI's and also bonuses are already in place.
