Construction Cadet


My client is a reputable and growing construction company based in West Sydney. Specialising in the construction of pre-fabricated buildings for large mining, educational and the public works sector, they have grown to be a leader in their specialised field.

They are seeking for a construction cadet to join their team. This role will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to take on a diverse position based on hands-on training in contracts administration, estimating and project management. The position will be based in their head office located in Blacktown and will have the responsibilities of assisting senior contracts administrators, estimators and project managers being trained and mentored for a career heading to project management.

To be suitable for this position, they require an individual currently studying a Construction Management Degree, ideally in their third or final year, available to work minimum 4 days. They seek a bright and intellectual individual who is career motivated, able to communicate in all levels and has a high attention to detail. Construction experience working as a cadet or a junior contracts administrator with reputable builders is also preferred.

The salary is open for negotiations and is promised to be above industry standards, the advantages of bonuses, annual reviews and further training are also offered.
