 My client is a mid tier commercial contract in search of a Site Manager to head a project Located in Wagga Wagga.
Project
The project is a retail distribution centre in Wagga Wagga that comprises of tilt up panel construction for a main retail client which is programmed to finish December.
The Position
As a Site Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of site activities, reporting directly to a Project Manager running day-to-day and weekly construction programmes. Duties may include but not limited to;
- Management of all sub-contractor and trade activities
- OH&S and Quality Assurance Management
- Ensuring programmes are run on time
- Heading site meeting with management, construction teams and at times with client representatives
The Person
They seek an experienced Site Manager with minimum 5 years experience. Commercial, Industrial or Retail experience is required having managed a project to the value of $10Mil+. A trade background would be advantageous with a proven track record of completing projects with reputable builders. They are also open in talking to people that are willing to relocate to Wagga Wagga for the duration of the construction period.
The Rates and Rewards
The hourly or weekly rates are negotiable but are promised to be rewarding. This will be assessed through experience. Allowances and project bonuses are also in place.
